Cape Town Cycle Tour EXPO: A Shopper’s Paradise for Cyclists

on

If you are an international cyclist, planning on heading to South Africa for the Cape Town Cycle Tour in March 2017, don’t worry about packing everything but the kitchen sink in your suitcase, you can get all the cycling accessories, clothing, supplements, spares and tools you need at the Cycle Tour EXPO, and if the current exchange rate holds, it will be a whole lot cheaper than it is here in Europe!

A place where you can buy anything from a new pair of gloves to the very latest Pinarello, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo is a paradise for cyclists, and with a huge choice of exhibitors selling everything you could possibly need to compete in the World’s Largest Timed Cycle Race, you only need to bring your trusty steed (unless you plan to buy a new one!), and the determination to finish the tour in your personal best time.

For the first time in 2016, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo was held at the iconic Green Point Stadium, which gave visitors the unique opportunity to have a peek inside as they collected their Race Packs and RaceTec Chips before winding their way through the endless stalls where plenty of free samples were being handed out.

All the big named brands were there, including GIANT, Cervélo, EVOBIKES, Garmin, and Shimano, along with several South African brands and local companies selling everything from sunglasses and underwear to the latest Wattbike!

A cycling extravaganza that takes place just once a year, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo is well worth a visit, so don’t forget to pass by next spring, your entry to the Cycle Tour just won’t be the same without it!
