Cape Town Cycle Tour 2015 – 50 Days and Counting!

With just 50 days to go until the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2015 gets underway, now is definitely time to finalise your travel plans to South Africa – if you haven’t done so already!

International Entries can still secure their place on the World’s Largest Timed Cycle Race, but the flights and hotels are filing up fast, and if you are trying to rent a bicycle in Cape Town for the event – well, good luck with that!

Cape Town Cycle Tour Entries 2015

If you have already booked your trip to SA for the Cape Argus, you have much to look forward to!  The Lifecycle Expo is a real treat for cycling fans of every age, and with the current South African Rand / £Pound / €Euro exchange rate, you can afford to treat yourself to a new cycle helmet, a pair of super padded cycling shorts, or even, a brand new Cannondale!

You can also buy energy drinks and snacks, nutrition bars, every kind of bike accessory, Cape Town Cycle Tour merchandise, sunglasses… the list goes on. It’s all available at the Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Expo, and if you are registered for the race on 8th March, you can gain free entry into the Expo with your RaceTec chip.

The Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Expo will take place at the Good Hope Centre, on Sir Lowry Road in Cape Town city centre, and you can visit any time between:

  • Thursday, 5 March:  09:30am – 7pm
  • Friday, 6 March:  9am – 7pm
  • Saturday, 7 March:  9am – 4pm

If you are an international cyclist, don’t forget to take your passport and your entry number (which should be emailed to you in the coming weeks along with your seeding information).

With just 50 days to go, now is definitely time to start training!  See you on March 8th!
